Three steps from install to your first mock exam — and what each practice mode does once you are in.

Choose country and licence

The app asks "Where are you taking the test?" and then "Which licence?". Thailand has one combined test, so it skips the class step. The Philippines adds a third step, "Question language": English or Filipino.

Download once

Your question pack downloads with a progress bar and is verified before it opens. After that the app works offline. Indonesian exam video clips download when a question needs them, and are then kept.

Sit a mock exam under your test's rules, practise by topic, go back over the questions you got wrong — and let the Readiness statistics tell you what to study next.

What each mode does

Exam

A fresh paper under your test's rules: the question count, the pass mark, the timer and — in Vietnam — the instant-fail rule. The Exam rules screen shows them before you start, and says plainly when a format is an estimate. Answers are revealed at the end.

Study / Test

Two ways through any practice run. Study shows the answer as soon as you pick; Test reveals the answers at the end.

Practice by topic

Every topic with your mastery. Malaysia's question pack has no topic split, so its Home screen offers All questions in this place.

Weak spots

Questions you last got wrong. Every mistake becomes practice.

Bookmarks

Questions you saved. Save any question from the quiz.

Work through the whole pool of your licence class.

Explanation

Shown in Study and in review where the question pack has one: all 600 Vietnamese car-class questions, and 1,018 of the 1,180 Indonesian questions. The other packs have answer keys without explanations.

Readiness

Coverage, mastery, exams taken, streak and pace, a recent-exam chart, pass rate, your strongest and weakest topic. The verdict reads "Ready.", "Improving." or "Needs practice."

Offline, languages, ads

Online first, then offline

Choosing a country and downloading or updating a question pack need internet. Once the pack is on your device, everything else works offline. Packs range from about 2.1 MB (Vietnam motorcycle) to 51 MB (Philippines, per language).

Six menu languages

English, Bahasa Indonesia, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese and Bahasa Melayu. The menus follow the question language by default, and you can change them in Settings. Questions are always in the language of the test.

Resume where you stopped

Leave a run half-way and the app asks "Resume your last run?" — it continues at the same question with the clock intact. Pause stops the clock and hides the paper.

Free, with ads

The app is free and supported by ads: a banner, an occasional full-screen ad and an ad when the app opens. There are no in-app purchases and no account. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent to personalised ads, and iOS asks before any tracking. The privacy policy has the details.

To be clear

What the app is not

It is not a government app, and it is not affiliated with any agency that runs a test.
It covers the theory test — the written or computer test. It does not coach the road test, book tests or issue licences, and it does not replace any course your licensing process requires.
It is a way to practise and to measure how ready you are. It cannot promise a pass.
