The KPP01 test, in short

How many questions are in the KPP01 theory test?

The motosikal and motokar papers have 50 questions; you need 42 correct within 45 minutes. The KPP Gabungan paper has 70 questions, 56 to pass, 75 minutes. This is the format JPJ publishes in its FAQ on the KPP Gabungan module, and the app's timed papers use it.

Do the questions come from a published KPP01 question bank?

No. JPJ does not publish a KPP01 question bank, so the 662 questions are our own question bank, written for practice. Only the paper format — the question count, pass mark and time — is JPJ's published one.

Does it cover KPP Gabungan?

Yes: a random paper of 70 questions, 56 to pass, 75 minutes, or one of 7 Gabungan practice sets in the JPJ format. Each set's label states its number of questions, and a shorter set gets a scaled pass mark and time.

Why are some practice sets shorter than 50 questions?

19 of the 27 sets are 1–3 questions short of the paper size, because picture-less items were removed from the bank. The app states every set's real size on its label and scales the pass mark and the time to match. A random paper always has the full count.

Can I practise in English?

Not yet. The test can be sat in Malay or in English, but the app's question bank is Bahasa Melayu only for now. The menus can be switched to English, and a Malay–English bank is second on the roadmap, with no date yet.

Is there eyesight practice?

Yes. Set 11 has 28 eyesight items: Ishihara plates, shapes, number plates and colours.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free and supported by ads, with no in-app purchases. There is no account: your progress stays on your device. The question pack is about 4 MB and works offline once downloaded.
